WINONA LAKE - A Winona Lake man was arrested Friday night after police found what is believed to be a meth lab in his mobile home trailer.

Leonard Charles Greer, 21, of 1202 E. Wooster Road, Winona Lake, Lot 47, was booked into Kosciusko County Jail at 11:28 p.m. Friday on a charge of dealing methamphetamine.

Winona Lake Police Department had received numerous tips of a possible meth lab at Greer's home, which is in Fairlane Mobile Home Park, Winona Lake.

Officers had gone to the residence and could smell the odor of methamphetamine production from outside. Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers were then contacted and responded to the location.

Consent was provided to the DTF officers and, once inside, they located a methamphetamine lab in production. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team also was called to the residence to dismantle and secure the lab. Greer is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.

Also assisting the Drug Task Force was the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Warsaw Police Department and the Winona Lake Police Department.

Citizens that want to provide anonymous drug-related tips can call the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force TIP line 24 hours a day at 574-372-2494.
