After spending time in an emergency room at Kosciusko Community Hospital, a Warsaw man stole $7,200 worth of medical equipment.
Bruce Yeazel, 27, of 219 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, was arrested for theft Monday.
According to the probable cause affidavit provided by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, Yeazel and his wife, Mindy, were at KCH May 18. Emergency room staff told Warsaw Police Department officers the couple were “fascinated” by an Accuvein vein light and a Spectralink 8440 phone.
When the two left KCH, the light and phone were missing. Employees advised that only Yeazel and his wife had access to the equipment. WPD went to Yeazel’s home, where they found the stolen vein light. The phone could not be found.
Mindy has an open active criminal case on her for theft in another matter in Kosciusko County and has not been arrested yet. Bruce was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on an $11,500 bond.
