Caroline Nicole Mahnensmith and Nicholas McIntosh Pease were married at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 1, 2009, at North Webster Church of God by Pastor Matt Conner.

The bride's parents are Ted and Jerri Mahnensmith, Syracuse, and the groom's parents are Alan Pease and Suzaane Pease, both of Muncie.

Matron of honor was Katy Haugh, Pendleton. Bridesmaids were Lesli Randall, Muncie; Jenny Good and Kate Richards, both of Anderson; and Mallory Papp, Fort Wayne. Flower girl was Olivia Haugh, Pendleton.

Best man was Brad Hoover, Muncie. Groomsmen were William Pease, Eric Straub and Ryan Agullana, all of Muncie, and Jared Mahnensmith, Syracuse. Ringer bearers were Isaac and Caleb Haugh, both of Pendelton.

Ushers were Randy Wheeler and Andrew Young, both of Anderson, and Ian White, McCordsville.

The reception was at The Spohn Ballroom, Goshen.

The bride is a second-grade teacher at Noblesville Schools. She graduated from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, in 2003, and earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Anderson University in May 2007.

The groom just graduated from college and returned from a deployment in Afghanistan. He is a 2002 graduate of Wapahani High School, Selma, and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and minors in history and Christian ministries from Anderson University in December 2009.

They honeymooned in St. Lucia.
