Madison Visits Healthworks Museum

How often does the human body make new blood? How large is your large intestine? How many muscles does the average human have? These questions and more were answered when fifth-grade students from Madison Elementary School traveled to South Bend to visit Memorial Hospital's Healthworks Kids' Museum. The students experienced many hands-on activities, a health 'game show' and a program on the human brain. The trip ended with lunch in the park.
