Lyle W. Shenefield, 81, of Winona Lake, passed away at 6;15 a.m. July 23, 2013, in his residence.
He was born May 18, 1932, in Bremen, to Warren and Maree Laudman Shenefield. He married Diane Cox, who died in 1998. On Jan. 30, 1999, in Warsaw, he married Gloria Schneider, who survives.
He graduated from Bremen High School in 1950. He was the former owner of Town and Country Ladies Apparel until 1975 and then worked at DePuy Inc. in orthopedic sales until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw, and Warsaw Rotary Club.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lisa Garrett, McMinniville, Ore.; a son, Jay (and spouse Jill) Shenefield, McMinniville; a brother, Vere A. (and spouse Ruth) Shenefield, Warsaw; three stepdaughters:  Shelley Maish, Erie, Colo.; Carol (and spouse Greg) Myers, Chicago, Ill.; and Amy Sry, San Francisco, Calif.; two stepsons, Lex (and spouse Tammy) Dalton, Warsaw, and Jay (spouse Jeannie) Maish, Littleton, Colo.; three grandchildren: Davin, Ryan and Gabriel; and seven step-grandchildren: Dru, Derek, Brandon, Andy, Luke, Ann Dee and Dalton.
A funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Corinne Hodges officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church Columbarium.
 Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
 McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
