He was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Bantry, N.D., to Charles and Edith Healy Heath. On Jan. 26, 1944, he married Clara L. Seeley, who died Oct. 3, 2004.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II. He was a life member of American Legion Post #15, Wabash; Moose Lodge #1518, North Manchester; and a life member of DAV.
He was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church. He was an avid woodworker. He retired from Endicott Church Furniture, Warsaw, in 1982. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are three sons: Barry (and spouse Susan) Heath, Bonita Springs, Fla.; Greg (and spouse Karen) Heath, Litchfield, Minn.; Scott (and spouse Deb) Heath, New Haven; a sister, Francis Kesler, Francesville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by five brothers and eight sisters.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Peabody Chapel, 400 W. 7th St., North Manchester, with the Rev. Sue Babovec officiating. Burial is in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Peabody Chapel.
Arrangements were entrusted to McKee Mortuary, North Manchester.
