Sam and Mary Jo Lundy, 6981 E. May Lane, Leesburg,  will soon be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Sam Lundy and the former Mary Jo Firestone were married Oct. 26, 1963, at Syracuse Church of God, by the Rev. James McKibben.
Sam is employed part-time by Tippecanoe Country Club Pro Shop, and he is also a retired bus driver for the Wawasee Community School Corp. He is a 1961 graduate of North Webster High School.
Mary Jo is employed by the Town of North Webster trustee/clerk’s office and Police Department. She also retired as a bus driver for WCSC. She is a 1963 graduate of Syracuse High School.
The couple have four children: Kim (and spouse Dave) Margolius, Avon; Kelly Turner, Fishers; Kevin Lundy, Warsaw; and Kyle (and spouse Elisa) Lundy, Chesterton; and six grandchildren.
They plan to celebrate by spending a weekend with their children and grandchildren. They also plan to take a trip together.[[In-content Ad]]
