Lucille F. Thompson, 91, died at 6:50 p.m. July 1, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born Aug. 2, 1920, in Kosciusko County, to Elmer E. Foreman and Hester E. Slaymaker. On July 4, 1992, in Warsaw, she married Ernest Thompson, who survives.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she graduated from Pierceton High School in 1938. She was a bookkeeper at Levin and Sons Salvage, Warsaw, retiring in 1983. She was a member of North Webster Church of God; American Legion Auxiliary; Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary; Women of the Moose; and Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.

Also surviving are two daughters, Donna (and spouse John) Wiles, Warsaw, and Twylla Tolley, Cincinnati, Ohio; a son, Charles (and spouse Norma) Fawley, Warsaw; three sisters: Norma Bodkin, Warsaw, Pearl Halsey, Cromwell; and Vivian Murphy, Pierceton; four grandchildren: Tamara (and spouse Ed) Boggs and Jennifer Fawley, all of Warsaw; Cheryl (and spouse Mike) Lennon, Fort Wayne; and Bobbie (and spouse Kathy) Fawley, Mandoline, Ill.; and seven great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Matthew, Thomas, Nicholas, Ian, Charles and Stephen. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herschel Foreman.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Josh Harding of  Community Bible Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
