Lowe's May Be Interested In Site Adjacent To Wal-Mart

A Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse may be coming to Warsaw, but it's too early to say for sure, city officials said.
Mayor Ernie Wiggins said Lowe's has been looking at part of the Petro Family LLC property as a location possibility.
"Carl Wendell owns some property out there also," Wiggins said, adding that Lowe's may be looking at that as a possibility as well.
The property in question is at Ind. 15N and U.S. 30, south of the new location for a Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Wiggins said he has not spoken with anybody from Lowe's but said engineers have been talking with Noffsinger.
Noffsinger would not confirm any plans for the proposed Lowe's store and when questioned said, "I have not received any plans in this office."
Bob Petro, owner of Bruce Petro Olds, Buick, Pontiac, Cadillac, GMC, Inc., also said he was "not at liberty to discuss" any interest Lowe's may have shown in the property. [[In-content Ad]]
