Lovelady 50th

Dr. Rik and Grace Lovelady marked their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 15, 2008. The couple were married Aug. 15, 1958, at the Forward Baptist Church, Toronto, Canada, with the Rev. D.C. Percy officiating.

Both graduated from Toronto Bible College, and he also graduated from Grace College and Seminary. He taught high school English in Cromwell and then taught Greek and English at Grace College for 36 years, adding further academic degrees and chairing several departments. She worked as an elementary school teacher at Washington and Claypool in the Warsaw Community School Corp. for 26 years

The couple have two children, Stephen Lovelady, Southern Pines, N.C., and Lynnette Whitaker, Winona Lake.

The couple celebrated the aniversary with a tour of Ireland.[[In-content Ad]]
