She was born July 20, 1965, in Charleston, W.Va., to Frank and Freda Hundley Atkins, who survive in Hamlet. On Aug. 27, 1988, in Glendora, Calif., she married Michael L. Turley, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Brethren Church, North Manchester. She enjoyed reading the Bible, photography and writing a family newsletter once a year.
Also surviving are a daughter, Tanarae K. Turley, Claypool; a son, Michael L. Turley, Claypool; a stepdaughter, Cara (and spouse Scott) McCollister, Roann; a stepson, Kyle Turley, Wabash; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Angie (and spouse Maverick) Voleski, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jenny Keffer, Andrews; a brother, Mike (and spouse Denise) Atkins, Hamlet; and 16 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Tim Atkins.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First Brethren Church, 407 N. Sycamore, North Manchester, with Pastor Kurt Stout officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Grovertown.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Grandstaff-Hentgen, Bender Chapel, 207 W. Main St., North Manchester, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
