DWALE, Ky. - Loretta Warner Blanton, of Dwale, Ky., died Jan. 23, 2009, in her residence.

She was born April 29, 1935, in Hammond, to Hubert and Mabel Buchanan Ramsey. Her stepfather is John B. Jones. On Aug. 25, 1951, she married Robert Dewey Warner, who died May 18, 1993. On May 19, 1995, she married Dock Blanton, who survives.

She moved to Warsaw in 1949, and to Kentucky in 2003.

Surviving are five children: Debra (and spouse Lewis) Canby, Claypool; Roberta (and spouse Tommy) Hatfield, Winona Lake; Jerry (and spouse Jean) Warner, Silver Lake; Katherine (and spouse Craig) Conrad, Warsaw; and Robert (and spouse Sondra) Warner, Burket; four stepsons: D.L. Blanton, New Orleans, La.; Larry Todd (and spouse Violet) Blanton, Nappanee; Monty (and spouse Tammy) Blanton, Dallas, Texas; and Leonard (and spouse Sherry) Blanton, Rochester; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and two great-grandchildren.

Services were at Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Ky. Burial was in Davidson Memorial Cemetery, Ivel, Ky.[[In-content Ad]]
