Lois M. Richey, 79, Leesburg, passed away at 4:30 p.m. May 11, 2015, at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1936, in Ney, Ohio, to Richard and Juanita Thomas Mack. On Sept. 15, 1955, in Angola, she married Leo Richey, who survives.
She was a 1954 graduate of Butler High School. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County.
She was secretary for the Pepsi-Cola Warsaw Plant for 10 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of VFW Women’s Auxiliary, North Webster American Legion Auxiliary Post #258 and Warsaw Bowling Association, which inducted her into its Hall of Fame. She enjoyed playing shuffle board, and loved to fish and hunt as well as crochet. She was an avid NASCAR fan, and especially followed Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. She enjoyed watching birds and being around flowers.
Also surviving are two sons, Larry (and spouse Sue) Richey, Leesburg, and Matt Richey, Warsaw; two daughters, Faith (and spouse Matt) Kirkendall and Juanita (and spouse Gale) Danner, all of Warsaw; nine grandchildren: Eric, Chantelle, Amber, Roger, Nellie, Samantha, Shanna, Alexis and Emma; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Tom Mack, St. Joseph; and two sisters, Bobbi (and spouse Joe) Crager, Waterloo, and Chris (and spouse Max) Baughman, Butler. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Mike, Ronald and Dick Mack; and one sister, Diane Kunce.
Services will be at noon Monday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, chaplain at Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, officiating.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to noon Monday at the funeral home.
