Lois Jean “Ginny” Davis, 82, of Warsaw, passed away at 7:33 a.m.   Jan. 8, 2012, in her residence.

She was born May 20, 1929, in Warsaw, to F.B. and Gladys Yonor  Light. On Oct. 26, 1946, she married Robert “Bob” Davis, who preceded her in death.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, she was a wheel fabricator at Sun Metal Inc., Warsaw, for 44 years, retiring in 1996 and worked at Explorer Van, Warsaw, for 10 years, retiring in 2006. She was a graduate of Warsaw High School and a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 49, Warsaw.

Surviving are a son, Michael (and spouse Kelly) Davis, Warsaw; a daughter, Connie (and spouse Dan) Pickett, Warsaw; three sisters, Mary (and spouse F.D.) Leake, Doris (and spouse Donnie) Jones and Margaret (and spouse Robie) Helton, all of Warsaw; a grandson, Mike (and spouse Jennie) Davis, Ohio; a step-grandson, Chris (and spouse Katrina) Kiedel, Indianapolis; and three great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Gerry Folse, and a brother, Don Light.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Warsaw.

No calling is planned.
