Logansport Deputy Mayor Seeks District 18 State Senate Seat

"Although the legislature is working on property tax reform, it appears as if the end result will be a shell game raising one tax to replace another," Klinck said.
Klinck worked in Cass County government from 1993 to 1998. She served on the Logansport City Council for six years while also working as a program manager for the Indiana Department of Commerce's Main Street Program.
In 2004, Klinck was appointed to serve as Logansport's deputy mayor.
Klinck was a small business owner, running her business, Linda's Carriage Barn, for 16 years. She was the first executive director of Logan's Landing, a national certified Main Street Program for downtown revitalization.
She serves as president of Cass County Historic Preservation Foundation, the Cass County Tourism Commission and Logan's Landing.
She serves on the steering committee for Diversity Dynamics, Intercultural Community Alliance, Salvation Army Board, Logansport Plan Commission, Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana Statewide Project Review Committee and the Northern Regional Advisory Council.
She is married to David. They have two grandchildren and three grandchildren.
