Local Motorcyclists to Participate in American Legion Legacy Run

Ray Bledsoe, charter member of the American Legion Riders of Pierceton Post 258; Harley Owners group members; American Bikers Aimed Toward Education members; and Patriot Guard Riders will be riding in the motorcycle run.
The ABATE riders will start in Frankfort. The route will continue to Indianapolis, then Cincinnati, Ohio; Knoxville, Tenn.; Nashville, Tenn.; then back to Louisville, Ky.; Indianapolis and ending in Frankfort.
It will be a total of 1,000 miles in 24 hours, beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday and finishing about 6 a.m. Sunday.
Bledsoe rides an average of 12,000 miles per year. He also has ridden in the American Legion Legacy Run from Reno, Nev., to Phoenix, Ariz., and to Louisville.
The American Legion Post 49 and American Legion Auxiliary 49 has donated $1,000 toward the run.
The proceeds from the motorcycle run go toward sending kids to the Indiana Burn Camp.[[In-content Ad]]
