Warsaw Planners Approve Plat
Warsaw Plan Commission approved a final plat Tuesday for the Paths of Deerfield subdivision.
The preliminary plat was approved in September 2005 for the 40.47 acres at the southwest corner of CR 75N and CR 175E.
Dave Baumgartner, commission member, made the motion seconded by Lacy Francis.

Winona Redevelopment Meets
WINONA LAKE – The Winona Lake Redevelopment Commission will meet Thursday at 5 p.m. at the town hall.

Etna Green Lions Plan Hayride
ETNA GREEN – The Etna Green Lions annual community hayride will be Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Park, Etna Green. The haywagons will leave at 6:45 p.m. Upon their return to the park, everyone will be treated to free hot dogs and hot cocoa. The Lions ask that children under age 10 be accompanied by an adult.

Craft Show At Pavilion Set
A Christmas at the Lake craft show will be Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Center Lake Pavilion, Warsaw.
This year’s show has more than 40 vendors displaying and selling handmade products such as baked goods, pottery, quilted bags, hand carved wood pieces, jewelry, baskets, candles, wreaths, and baby and seasonal items. As one of its annual fundraisers, Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County will sponsor lunch including Italian beef sandwiches, sloppy joes and homemade pies.

Pierceton Plans Halloween Party
PIERCETON – Pierceton Lions Club will sponsor its annual Halloween party for area children Oct. 25 at the Pierceton Elementary School gym. Doors open and games begin at 5:45 p.m. and costume judging with prizes will be awarded at 6:30 p.m. Many door prizes will be available as well as treats.
