BOURBON – Bourbon Children’s Resale will hold its annual resale June 11 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the old elementary gym, corner of Harris Street and Shaffer Road, Bourbon.
More than 55 sellers consigning their gently used maternity and children’s items in one location. Quality, gently used clothing, toys, strollers, high chairs, pack-n-plays, cribs plus so much more.
Portion of proceeds will be donated back to the community.
Jefferson Hosts Open House For 2 Retiring Teachers
WINONA LAKE – Jefferson Elementary School is honoring its two retiring teachers at an open house.
Linda Flenar taught for 37 years, and Pam Shipley taught neary 30 years.
The open house will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Jefferson gym lobby.
Guests are asked to write down their favorite memories to add to a “Memories Basket”. Refreshments will be served.
Bank To Host Financial Education Event
The public is invited to a “Smart Money Day” featuring LPL Financial Advisor Andy Manes.
Manes recently joined 1st Source and has more than 11 years of experience.
Manes can help with retirement planning.
Attend this “Smart Money Day” financial education event Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the 1st Source Warsaw Banking Center, 120 S. Lake St., and get information about financial products, retirement services and more.
“Smart Money Days” are a series of learning opportunities regularly held at 1st Source Bank locations in an effort to provide financial education and information to the community.

Red Cross Prepared To Assist
The American Red Cross of Kosciusko County is working with Kosciusko County Emergency Management Office to monitor the community and respond to any emergency issues.
The Red Cross is prepared to assist with immediate emergency needs such as food, clothing and shelter. Residents in need of assistance may contact the Kosciusko Chapter at 574-267-5244 or stop by the office at 320 N. Buffalo St., Warsaw.
Ed Rock, Kosciusko Emergency Management director, reports sand and sandbags are available at the Kosciusko County Highway Department, 2936 E. Old 30, Warsaw.
Red Cross disaster assistance is provided free of charge. The Red Cross relies on donations to provide its assistance. To make a donation to the disaster relief fund and assist with storm damage throughout the country, visit www.redcross.org, call 800-REDCROSS or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

NORTH MANCHESTER – The Friends of the North Manchester Public Library will hold a used book, CD, DVD and video sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 10 and 11 in the Blocher Community Room of the library at 405 N. Market St., North Manchester.
