He was born Aug. 26, 1938, in Betsey Lane, Ky., to William Langley and Roxie Lee Workman Hall. On Dec. 24, 1959, in Betsey Lane, Ky., he married Shirley Mae Hamilton, who survives in Silver Lake.
He entered the U.S. Army in 1956 at Fort Knox, Ky., served as an MP, and was honorably discharged Nov. 28, 1959. He lived in Silver Lake for 12 years. He worked in casting at Zimmer for 21 years, retiring in 1999.
Surviving are two sons, Danny Lloyd (and spouse Tiffany) Hall, Silver Lake, and Dennis Langley (and spouse Sandy) Hall, Warsaw; a daughter, Roxie Delena Hall Wimsatt, Silver Lake; a sister, Ormajean “Tiny” Holbrook, Betsey Lane, Ky.; and nine grandchildren: Janelle, Levi, Micah, Stan, Ivan, Jade, Ellis, Avander, and Aaron. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rozella Creecy and Dorothy Lee Stanley; and two brothers, William “Bill” Hall and Claude Hall.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Tom Buford officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
