Twenty-eight teenagers brought in the New Year with a little competition Saturday. The Super Smash Brother's Brawl Tournament at the Warsaw Community Public Library was hosted by the Teen Advisory Board, a committee of teenagers who plan events and volunteer at the library. This specific event was organized by the collaboration of Julian Bowen and Jesse McAlister. The game was played on a huge screen with surround sound, munchies and a captive audience. First place went to Shawn Konkle and Preston Brandon. Second place went to Travis Kempton and Jordan Sharp; and third place went to Julian Bowen and Ruben Gallegos. Each winning team received gift cards to Game Stop. For future gaming events at the library, check out the Teen Blog at warsawteen.blogspot.com, or go to warsawlibrary.org and click on teen page.
