Wagon Wheel

I just have to tell everyone what a wonderful experience my family and I had last night at the Wagon Wheel Theatre's production of "Beauty and the Beast." I am a season subscriber and have been for several years. This was by far the BEST show that I have ever seen there. The casting was superbly done. Pegah was an absolutely beautiful "Belle" and my girls were just drooling over that handsome Prince/Beast Rod Thomas. Dan Z., a favorite of mine from other recent productions, played that ornery "Gaston" to perfection, but my personal favorite this time was Lumiere done by Tony Humrichouser. He ad-libbed some hilarious things into that character that made this show what will be a family favorite for a long time to come. I can't just focus on the cast because some of the behind the scenes players were just as talented The costuming was from right out of the Disney movie and quite exquisite. The music coming from the orchestra pit made me quite envious, making me wish I played that well. Finally, the choreography was amazing as well. There is was a pub scene with Gaston and the townspeople that knocked my socks off because it was so full of energy and excitement. A tremendous amount of hard work went into the directing, acting, music, dance, props, costuming and lighting for this show and I just wanted to acknowledge all the cast and crew for a marvelous production ... your best ever in my family's opinion. You've secured my subscription for next summer's shows.

I will recommend this show to all my friends and family, children and grown ups alike. It was well worth the time and money, and it was all right here in our backyard of Warsaw, Indiana!
