Fire Dept. Says Thanks

Editor, Times-Union:
On behalf of the Warsaw Fire Department, I would like to express our appreciation to our community. The recent fund-raiser for the Evans family was a success. Many local businesses stepped up and donated items, which allowed the benefit to take place nearly cost free. Also, at times, the line was almost one block long. That made a statement about our community. Again, to the businesses that donated and to all of the individuals that have donated to the Evans family a huge thank-you from the Warsaw Fire Department.

Winona Celebration

Editor, Times-Union:
The Winona Lake Park Board wishes to thank the Publicity Committee of Winona Lake for a wonderful day in the Park. It was obvious that months of planning and a lot of hard work went into making this Fourth of July celebration happen.

Our special thanks to co-chairpersons, Kirk and Lori McCutcheon, who led a dedicated committee of Art and Cookie Gakstatter, Amy Stephenson, Angie Tom, Jan Illingworth and Denny Duncan. This group made us proud to be a part of this wonderful day in this great community.

Stolen Flag

Editor, Times-Union:
To whomever stole my flag, I hope you are a patriotic person, however, I wish you would "fly your own flag" and not mine!

The Lawless Party
Editor, Times-Union: Democrats have a long history of supporting lawlessness and they have the nerve to say no one is above the law. At times they act like spoiled children that expect to get their way all the time even if they have been naughty.
