Good Hospital

Editor, Times-Union:
I want to congratulate the city of Warsaw for maintaining an excellent hospital in its own backyard. I am not a member of the Warsaw community but was recently directed there for a surgical procedure. Having heard the usual "war stories" about hospitals in the current media I was a bit concerned about the prospect. I found, contrary to those stories, a facility totally motivated toward customer service, medical excellence and staff kindness. I could not possibly have received better care both in the ambulatory surgical unit and in the medical ward, fourth floor. The nursing staff were efficient and professional in their assessment skills and kind, explaining every possible complication. I was impressed with their extreme concern for infection control. I was also impressed with their team work with all persons pulling together in the same direction, my care. And at discharge they were almost adamant that I should call about any question or problem I might have after returning home. I had a wonderful experience. KCH, I salute you.

Ag Day Helpers

Editor, Times-Union:
Dear Ag Day helpers,
Thank you for everything you taught us on Ag Day. What I liked most was the station about the chicks, ducks and soil erosion. I learned a lot! One thing I learned that I didn't know before was, I did not know it cost so much to buy a tractor. Another thing I enjoyed most was that we were split up into groups. Sometimes when we go on a field trip with our home school groups they don't divide us up. It is very hard for me to learn that way. I enjoyed it so much. I can't wait to go back next year. Please keep us in little groups next year too. Thank you again so much.

The Lawless Party
Editor, Times-Union: Democrats have a long history of supporting lawlessness and they have the nerve to say no one is above the law. At times they act like spoiled children that expect to get their way all the time even if they have been naughty.
