Abolish Governmental Slavery

Editor, Times-Union:
Slavery was abolished you say?

We are all slaves. We have been enslaved by a federal government that we allowed to ignore our Constitution and to grow to enormous proportion and totally out of our control.

We are slaves to a socialistic government. We are slaves to the IRS, to increased rules and regulations put into place by our over-empowered corrupt government officials. Soon we will be slaves to the world as the same corrupt government delivers us to the one-world government through our involvement with the United Nations, NATO and other one-world government organizations.

We are slaves to welfare, social security, OSHA and all other government regulatory programs and we work like fools to support all these social programs and corrupt government which continue to weaken our nation and the people therein. We are like a huge colony of ants all racing to please the queen.

It's time to stop, turn back time, enlist personal responsibility. Personal responsibility for our freedom; personal responsibility for our personal, economic and financial lives; personal responsibility for education, religions, and social concerns.

I don't like being a slave, do you? Join the Libertarian party for a free Republic and an end to slavery.

Unnatural Acts

Editor, Times-Union:
I read an article in the Journal Gazette stating that the United Methodist Church has decided to not do anything against 68 of their own ministers who blessed a gay wedding. The ministers blessed the wedding in protest of the churches ban on gay marriages.

Not only does that tell us the way a lot of churches are becoming more liberal and politically correct, it also should tell us that the Bible is just something to carry. The Bible is being torn apart, if it doesn't fit the way we want to live our life, then we ignore it or change the meaning. The Bible is filled with passages on the evil of homosexuality. But these ignorant so-called pastors ignore all of them. I wonder what God was thinking as the pastors were using His name in the blessing of this unnatural act. It's not a marriage, it's an unnatural beginning to a series of negative and repulsive events. I imagine they will want children, so our evil world will allow them to adopt. Then those children will have to go through all the torment and ridicule for having homosexual parents.

But I guess these children should just be happy they're alive. Because it's this same evil world that allows doctors, guided by ultrasound, to reach into a womb of a eight-and-a-half-month pregnant woman and grab the baby's legs with forceps. The doctor delivers the baby's entire body except the head. While the baby's hands and feet are kicking back and forth and the little fingers are clasping together, the doctor takes a pair of scissors and jabs them into the back of the baby's head, fracturing the skull. He then opens the scissors to enlarge the hole and inserts a vacuum tube to suck out the baby's brain. Anybody with common sense or morality calls that murder and torture. But instead, it's called a woman's choice. Unless you have an abortion to save the mother's life, then you are a murderer; you've murdered a child of God.

Nothing should surprise us anymore. Our churches are filled with pastors preaching false doctrine, acting as if they're the head of the church and answer to no one. Are we going to be weak and passive and play follow the leader? Are we going to educated ourselves with that forgotten book called -Êthe Bible? Don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe. In today's society, if you are an old-fashioned, conservative, Bible-believing Christian, you are thought of as an extremist and you will always be in the minority, but that's okay because I don't like crowds anyway.

Unfair Teams

Editor, Times-Union:
I am a former softball player for the CCACA and no longer want to play anymore because of the way it is set up. It seems all of the high school girls are on two teams and the rest are on different ones. I think that if it's just for fun then why don't they split it up the teams a little better that's why a lot of girls are quitting! And I am one that has quit because they don't play it fair!
