He was born Oct. 2, 1933, in Cannelton, to Harry and Edna Richardson Richey. On Sept. 15, 1955, in Angola, he married Lois M. Mack, who died May 11, 2015.
He served with the United States Army during World War ll. He lived in Leesburg for most of his life.
He was a manager for the Pepsi-Cola Warsaw plant for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of VFW Men’s Auxiliary; American Legion Post # 253, North Webster; Warsaw Bowling Association; and VFW Shuffle Board Team.
Surviving are two sons, Larry (and spouse Sue) Richey, Leesburg, and Matt Richey, Warsaw; two daughters, Faith (and spouse Matt) Kirkendall and Juanita (and spouse Gale) Danner, all of Warsaw; nine grandchildren: Eric, Chantelle, Amber; Roger, Nellie, Samantha, Shanna, Alexis and Emma; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Thomas, Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Bob Richey; and two sisters, Mary Marchand and Dualee Jarboe.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. June 8 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain, officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaw American Legion Post #49 and VFW Post #1126.
