Harrison Elementary second-grade classes sponsored a lemonade stand during recess for one week in May. They raised more than $550. They donated the money to help sponsor hole 2 on the frisbee golf course on the Harrison campus. They also donated money to help cover costs of bus transportation to Baker’s Youth Club for Harrison Students after school. Early experiences with philanthropy help students learn the value of giving back to their community.
