Harold and Sharon Lehman, Pierceton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Rejoice Lehman, Pierceton, to Seth Alan Slater, South Whitley. He is the son of Kim and Kathy Slater, South Whitley.

The bride-to-be is an opthalmic technician at Grossnickle Eye Center, Warsaw. She is a 2000 graduate of Whitko High School, South Whitley, and received a bachelor's degree from Ball State University in 2004.

The groom-elect is an English teacher at Carroll High School, Fort Wayne. He is a 2000 graduate of Whitko High School, South Whitley. He received a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in 2004.
