Kathryn A. Leffel, Warsaw, will celebrate her 93rd birthday Tuesday.
She was born April 8, 1921, in Union Township, Whitley County, to Millard and Goldie Kyler.
She was married to Robert S. Leffel, the love of her life, for 55 years. They made their home in Larwill where she lived for 69 years.
They had four children: William Leffel, Columbia City; Linda (and spouse James) Stroup, Pierceton; the late Joellen (and spouse Ralph) Fitch, Larwill; and the late Kenneth Dale; Janet (and spouse Randy) Grepke, Fort Wayne; and the late Sara Rogers, Larwill. They have three  grandchildren, three honorary grandchildren, two honorary great-grandchildren, two honorary great-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two honorary great-grandchildren and many more children whom they helped to raise.
