NAPPANEE – Lee E. Bricker, 82, Nappanee, died at 5:10 a.m. Oct. 12, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
He was born Sept. 25, 1927, in Osceola, to Alva and Gladys Walters Bricker. On June 30, 1951, in Nappanee, he married Wilma Yoder, who survives.
He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of Nappanee Church of the Brethren and the Nappanee American Legion. He had worked at Mutschler Brothers in Nappanee and retired from CTS.
Also surviving are two daughters, Linda (and spouse Gerald) Hepler, and Sandy (and spouse Mike) Mathews, both of Milford; two sons, Randy (and spouse Theresa) Bricker, Wakarusa, and Larry (and spouse Dee) Bricker, Nappanee; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one step-grandson; two step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Zelma Weaver, Arizona, and Sharon Stuber, Bremen; and a brother, James (and spouse Mary) Bricker, Mishawaka. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Nappanee Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Byrl Shaver officiating. Burial with military graveside services by Nappanee American Legion will be in Bremen Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
