Everett Robert Lawrence and Namona Joyce Shrout were married April 14, 1950, by the Rev. Lee Jackson, in Peru.

Richard and June Geiselman stood up with the couple as their lives were brought together.

Bob started out as a fireman on the railroad and has been a truck driver most of his working career. Namona was a secretary and a homemaker. After retirement, the couple traveled full-time with a church missions organization called MAPS working on construction and making repairs at orphanages, churches, Indian reservations etc. in several states for eight years. Now they reside with their dog, Skipper, in North Webster.

They have three children: Philip (and spouse Sandy) Lawrence, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Cathy Bentley, Warsaw; and the late Danny Lawrence; and several and grandchildren and great-grandchildren living in Oklahoma and Florida.
