Laura Couture, 84, of Warsaw, died at 1:41 p.m. July 16, 2012, in Mason Healthcare Center, Warsaw.

She was born Aug. 30, 1927, in Fort Wayne, to Henry and Marcella  Kappel Littlefield. On May 17, 1947, in Fort Wayne, she married Cletus Couture, who died May 11, 2009.

She attended Precious Blood Grade School then graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1945. She worked at Kune Abstract Co. for several years. before her marriage to Cletus.

She moved to Warsaw from Fort Wayne in 1963. She  retired as co-owner of Executive Office Products, where she continued as secretary-treasurer until the business closed in 2004. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, Rosary Altar Society and “Young At Heart” senior group.

Surviving are four sons: Ronald (and spouse Marilyn) Couture, Jamestown, N.C.; Dennis (and spouse Beth) Couture, Syracuse; David (and spouse Janelle) Couture, Fort Wayne; and Jon (and spouse Stephanie) Couture, Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren;  eight great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Philip DeVolder officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
