Larry Wagner, 71, died at 2:30 a.m. June 7, 2012, in his Warsaw home. He was born July 29, 1941, in Mishawaka, to Charles and Edna Coleman Wagner. On Dec. 14, 1996, in Warsaw, he married Merrilee Sands Beahan, who survives in Warsaw. A 1959 Mishawaka High School graduate, he lived in Warsaw for 19 years, moving from Mishawaka, and also owned a cottage on Big Barbee Lake. He was a mail carrier for South Bend Post Office for 13 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge. He loved his family, especially Merrilee, the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren; was an avid fisherman, built miniature housing replicas including one of their home, and had a passion for gardening. He and Merrilee owned and operated Merrilee’s Produce, and enjoyed camping and traveling in their motor home. Also surviving are two daughters, Cindy (and spouse Dave) Britton, and Jodi (and spouse James) Davidson, both of Bremen; a stepdaughter, Laura (and spouse Carl) Sowers, Warsaw; a stepson, Scott (and spouse Laura) Campbell, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren: David, Sarah, Stacy, Nathan, Brittany, Heather, Branden, Matthew, Zach and Kayley; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean (and spouse Frank) Arsenault, Melbourne, Fla. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wagner. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer, Warsaw Community Chuch, Warsaw, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
