He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years and United Fence Co., Phoenix.
Surviving are a son, Larry Laird II, Phoenix; his mother, Rowena Laird, Winona Lake; and a brother, Roger Laird, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
