Wayne and Beth Landis, Mentone, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a small family get-together Sunday.
He and the former Beth Bammerlin were married July 7, 1990,  in Akron United Methodist Church, and Merlin Cox officiated.
Both of them are civil servants in education. He has been a junior high math teacher for the Tippecanoe Valley School system for 29 years and she has worked as a primary grade teacher at South Whitley Elementary school for 25 years.
They have taken their wedding vow, in sickness and in health, very seriously. After four years of marriage, he became a paraplegic. Through it all, they have shown a godly commitment to each that only true love can endure.
The couple have two children: Zachary, 13, and Jeremiah, 12.
Cards may be sent to the couple at P.O. Box 289, Mentone, IN 46539 and would be appreciated.

Town of Claypool
