Lancer Men Win Spring Arbor Tourney

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - The Grace men beat the host Spring Arbor team and former Lancer assistant Doug Noll, 73-65, Saturday to win the Spring Arbor Tournament.

Five Lancers were in double figures, led by Bert McLaughlin's 18 points and Darren Gagnon's 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Grace (10-2) is at IPFW Thursday.

GRACE 73, SPRING ARBOR 75

Grace women 79, IU-Southeast 76 (OT)

At Hanover, after watching a 14-point lead disappear, the Lancer women rallied for a win over IU-Southeast in overtime at the Hanover Tourney Saturday.

Grace led 35-21 before IU-Southeast rallied and eventually tied it up on an Audrey Burger three-pointer at the buzzer.

Rebecca Wahlstrom gave Grace a lead in overtime, a lead the Lancers never gave back. Wahlstrom led the Lancers with 26 points and 12 boards. Amy Doron added 15 points.

Grace lost to Hanover 74-46 on Friday.

Grace (2-8) host Kalamazoo College Saturday at 3 p.m.
