Lakeview Takes First Place

One evening out of the entire school year, seventh- and eighth-grade students from NELMSC schools have the opportunity to demonstrate their academic expertise at the Geography Bee held by Indian Springs Middle School in Columbia City. Lakeview Middle School students spent two weeks independently at home and in collaboration with one another in their free time after school pouring over articles and maps to becomes experts on the subject of the Middle East, this year's Geography Bee theme. These students took the first-place prize at the Geography Bee in February.
