ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
    Sealed Bids for the construction of the Wastewater Collection System Sections A, B, and C will be received, by Lakeland Regional Sewer District Board at the office of the Lakeland Regional Sewer District Office, located in the North Webster Community Center at 301 North Main Street, North Webster, IN 46555 until
       Section A: 6:00 PM local time on Thursday December 11, 2014
       Section B: 6:00 PM local time on Tuesday December 16, 2014
       Section C: 6:00 PM local time on Thursday December 18, 2014
    at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read.      The Project consists of constructing a wastewater collection system consisting of grinder pump stations, low pressure force main, and three main pump stations.  
    Project is being funded through Rural Development U.S. Department of Agriculture.
    Separate Bids will be received for Section A, Section B, and Section C. Bids shall be on a unit price basis for Sections A, B, and C as indicated in the Bid Form.
    The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: ARC Indiana, 445 Fernhill Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office website https://order.e-arc.com/arcEOC/PWELL_Main.asp?mem=160 and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
    Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Lakeland Regional Sewer District Office, meeting room #1, located in the North Webster Community Center at 301 North Main Street, North Webster, IN 46555, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 am to 4 pm and the office of the Engineer, DLZ Indiana, LLC, 825 South Barr St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802 (260-420-3114) on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm.
    Bidding Documents may be viewed and ordered online by registering with the Issuing Office at, Phone (260) 483-8066, [email protected]. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office’s website as “zipped” portable document format (PDF) files. The cost of printed Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will depend on the number and size of the Drawings and Project Manual, applicable taxes, and shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. Cost of Bidding Documents and shipping is non-refundable.  Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice.  The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.  Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
    A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:30 pm (Sections A, B, & C) for the Wastewater Collection System at local time on November 25, 2014, Tuesday at the Lakeland RSD office, 301 North Main Street, North Webster, In 46555.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
    Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
