Lady Wildcats Whip Northrop 75-52

FORT WAYNE – Senior Jennifer Reiff scored 18 points, 17 in the first half, and junior Aly  Reiff tossed in 16 points, 14 after halftime, in Whitko’s 75-52 win at Fort Wayne Northrop Wednesday night.
The win extended the Lady Wildcats’ regular-season road win streak to 11 games, dating back to last season.
Junior Brianna Cumberland hit a trio of three-pointers en route to a 15-point night, and classmate Kennedy Krull added 14 for Whitko.
After trailing by four points after the first quarter, Whitko outscored Northrop 47-15 over the second and third quarters to secure the win.
Whitko resumes Three Rivers Conference play Saturday with a trip to Denver to take on North Miami. The varsity game is set to start at 7:45 p.m.
