Lady Warriors Roll, Boys Fall at Memorial

ELKHART — The 17th-ranked Wawasee girls swim team got a 126.5-59.5 Northern Lakes Conference win at Elkhart Memorial Tuesday, while the Wawasee boys lost 121-64.

In the girls victory, senior Brittany Robinson won the 100 fly and 100 back, while her younger sister, freshman Breanna Robinson, won 50 free and 100 breast. The two Robinson girls combined to help the 400 free relay get a win, along with Rachel Rozow and Sarah Rozow.

Brittany Robinson was also a part of the winning 200 medley relay with Karla Allen, Hannah Winters and Sarah Steele, while Breanna Robinson anchored the winning 200 free relay with Sarah Rozow, Steele and Kendra Miller.

Sarah Rozow also had a big night, adding the 200 free and 100 free to her two relay victories.

The Lady Warriors received wins from Karla Allen (200 IM) and Rachel Rozow (500 free).

On the boys side, the Warriors won five of 12 events, led by Zac Hershberger, who was victorious in the 50 free and 100 free.

Other wins for the Warriors were attained by Tristan Grubbs (diving) and Sebastian List (100 back).

The 3-0 Lady Warriors and 0-1 boys team travel to Concord for another NLC meet Tuesday.
