Larry Ladd is seeking the Republican nomination in the May primary for the position of Warsaw clerk-treasurer.
Incumbent Lynne Christiansen also is seeking the seat.
Ladd was born and raised in Warsaw and has been the operating and financial officer for more than 25 years of one of the country’s largest private sector resorts. He said he believes he is well qualified to serve the residents of Warsaw.
“I believe I can have a positive impact upon our city by overseeing the financial responsibilities of the city and working closely with and keep in direct communication with all city officials and department heads,” Ladd said in a press release.
He previously served the residents of Warsaw and Kosciusko County as the county coroner for eight years.
“I will equally dedicate myself to serve the residents of Warsaw as I did during my time as coroner,” Ladd said.
He said he encourages every citizen to  participate and become active in local government; and if elected the clerk-treasurer’s office will always be open for questions, concerns and comments.
“I am dedicated to an open city hall and will serve you the citizens of Warsaw in a professional, courteous and friendly matter,” Ladd said. “I pledge to be a good steward and be responsible for assuring your money is used wisely, efficiently and with full accountability.”[[In-content Ad]]
