She was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Kosciusko County, to Charles and Belle Daughtery Pinkerton. On Nov. 17, 1940, she married Anthony Wayne Pifer, who died in 1988. On Oct. 9, 1993, in Warsaw, she married John Kehoe, who survives.
A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she retired as an administrative assistant at Zimmer Inc. with 18 years of service. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, and the Sacred Heart Rosary Altar Society. She also attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are her children: Steve (and spouse Lois) Pifer, Savannah, Ga.; Doug Pifer (and companion Kim), Warsaw; and Carolyn (and spouse Mike) Lutes, Warsaw; stepchildren, Dixie (and spouse Jim) Kraus and Connie (and spouse Bruce) Hayden, all of Warsaw, and Pam (and spouse Dick) Craig, South Bend; a sister, Louise Miller, Leesburg; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Warsaw, with Father Phil DeVolder officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with a rosary service at 4:30 p.m.
