Kubacki To Give 'Spine Award' To Congresswoman Walorski

SYRACUSE – State Representative Rebecca Kubacki announced Congresswoman Jackie Walorski will be the recipient of the fourth annual Spine Award.
The dinner is Aug. 22 at the newly renovated Oakwood Inn’s Hilltop Conference Center in Syracuse. Cocktails are at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $80 per person, $50 for young Republicans (40 years old or younger). Reservations may be made by calling 574-457-4458. Dr. Dane Miller and Jean Northernor serve as honorary chairmen.
Walorski was elected to office in 2012 and serves on the House Armed Services, Budget, and Veterans Affairs committees.
Walorski served in the Indiana House of Representatives and participated in Indiana’s financial turnaround, which was the beginning of Indiana’s path to the current budget surplus.
Previous recipients of the Spine Award have been Governor Mitch Daniels, now Governor Mike Pence and the Grossnickle Family.
