Kristeen England, 82, passed away at 11:37 a.m. Oct. 30, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born Nov. 9, 1928, in Paintsville, Ky., to Luther and Molly Ann Bays Marshall. On Dec. 16, 1955, in Warsaw, she married Vallis England, who died Nov. 5, 1979.

Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, she was a welder at Sun Metal for 18 years, retiring in 1984. She was past president of American Legion Auxiliary Post 49 and a member of Rose Hill Regular Baptist Church, Silver Lake. She was a most loving and giving lady. She was all about her family and friends, and was known as “mom” or “grandma.” She was the rock of the family, raising all five children alone. She enjoyed family get-togethers anytime of the year, her door was always open for a meal or a place to sleep when needed. She collected Indian dolls and enjoyed being outdoors and playing around on the computer.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa England and Corliss (and spouse Roger) Rapsavage, all of Warsaw; two sons, Stanley (and spouse Sheila) England, Henderson, Ky., and Rodney (and spouse Joyce) England, Warsaw; her companion, Wilfred Rensberger, Warsaw; two stepsons, Darrel (and spouse Tina) Rensberger and Carl (and spouse Cathy) Rensberger, all of Warsaw; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon K. McAndrew, who died May 17, 2002, and a sister, Cora Morton, who died Oct. 23, 1989.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
