Kosciusko GOP Sets Political Events

Kosciusko County Republican party has planned numerous events.

On April 4 from 4 to 7 p.m., the Kosciusko Republican Fish Fry will be at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw.

People can eat at the fish fry and carryouts will be available.

On April 19, cocktails will be at 6:30 p.m., and  dinner will be at 7 p.m. for the Kosciusko Republican Lincoln Day Dinner at the 2517, 2517 E. Center St. The dinner will feature Indiana Speaker of the House Brian Bosma as the keynote speaker.

Primary election day is  May 8 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Yet to be determined is the site and date of the 2012 Kosciusko Republican golf outing.

The Indiana Republican convention will be convened in Indianapolis June 8 and 9 for the purpose of nominating candidates for Indiana lieutenant governor, attorney general and superintendent of public schools. Kosciusko County will be represented by a contingent of 27 delegates.

On July 9 to 14, the Kosciusko Republican Party will sponsor a booth at the Kosciusko County 4-H Fair, from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening.

Free popcorn and candy will be given to fair goers.

Republican candidates, officeholders and volunteers will assist each night in the festivities.

On Sept. 28, cocktails  will be at 6:30 p.m. and  dinner will be at 7 p.m. for  the Kosciusko County Republican Hall of Fame dinner. The dinner will be at The Old Depot, 115 E. Market St., Pierceton, featuring Indiana Superintendent of Public Schools Dr. Tony Bennett.

On Oct. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m., the fall Kosciusko County Republican Fish Fry will be at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds.  Carryouts will be available.

The general election is  Nov. 6 with voting from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]
