UNTIL: 9:00 a.m. (local time) June 28, 2016
BID OPENING: Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 9:15 A.M. (local time) during the Commissioner’s meeting on June 28, 2016. The meeting will be held on the third floor of the Courthouse, 100 W. Center St., Warsaw, IN 46580.
This Project consists of an approximately 1827 SF addition and related interior improvements to the Work Release Center located at 2605 E. Center St., Warsaw, IN 46580. The building will remain occupied during construction.
The Project will be awarded as a single Prime Contract where the General Contractor is responsible for all Trades, schedule coordination, and general conditions.
PRE BID MEETING:
Bidders are urged to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting June 16, 2016, at 10:00 A.M.
The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the project site.

Bidders may obtain the Contract Documents after 10:00 A.M., June 9th, 2016 from the Architect’s distributor:

Bidders must place an order on www.raplanroom.com to be able to download documents electronically or request printed documents. Bidders desiring printed documents shall pay for the cost of printing, shipping and handling.
Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The successful bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds of one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the date set for bid opening.
In comparing bids, consideration will not be confined to price only. The successful bidder will be the one that is judged to best serve the interests of Kosciusko County when price, product, safety, quality and delivery are considered.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bid(s) and to waive any irregularities in bidding. All bids may be held for a period not to exceed 30 days before awarding contracts.
It is the intention of the Owner that Construction of the Project will start in July 2016, and all work will be substantially complete by January 31, 2017.
Bid Proposal shall be executed in a complete manner on the bid form provided in the project manual and on State Forms 96 and 96A.
Construction shall be in full accordance with the Bidding Documents which are on file with the Owner and may be examined by prospective bidders at the following locations in addition to the Architect’s distributor:
