Kosciusko County GOP Plans 2014 Events

Many events are planned this year by the Kosciusko County Republican Party.
The first day a candidate may file for office will be Wednesday, and filing ends  Feb. 7 at noon.
Offices that will be on the ballot are listed at www.kcgov.com
The county will not have official filings for judges and prosecutor, since they file at the Indiana Secretary of State’s office.
The Kosciusko Republican Fish Fry will be April 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St.
Republican elected officials, candidates, and volunteers will be servers.   Carry-outs are also available.
On May 1 at 7 p.m. the Kosciusko Lincoln Day dinner, a formal event, will be at Champagne Jam, 2517 E. Center St., Warsaw, featuring keynote speaker Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson.
The highest office in Indiana to be elected this year is the Secretary of State position.
Primary Election Day is May 6 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On June 6 and 7 is the Indiana Republican Convention at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, Fort Wayne.
The Republican nominees for Indiana Secretary of State, State Auditor and State Treasurer will be selected.
On July 7 to 12 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. will be the Republican booth at the Kosciusko County 4H Fair, in the merchants tent. Freshly popped and free popcorn, candy and Republican information, brochures and political paraphernalia  will be available.
The 2014 Kosciusko Republican Hall of Fame Dinner date has yet to be announced. A Republican Man and Woman of the year will be announced during the dinner.
A keynote speaker is yet to be secured for the 2014 Hall of Fame dinner.
On Oct. 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. will be the Kosciusko Republican Fish Fry at the county fairgrounds. Republican elected officials, candidates, and volunteers will be servers. Carry-outs are also available.
