Notice is hereby given, that the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission shall hold a public hearing on a petition filed by Swiss Perfection requesting an amendment to the Turkey Creek Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance, to reclassify from an Industrial 2 District to a Commercial District, the following real estate, located: 008-030-274. an East Side Huntington St. north of Baltimore St. and described as follows, to wit:
Commencing at a concrete base for a metal sign post at the northwest corner of lot twenty-five (25) in M. Hillabold's Addition to Syracuse, Indiana, said point also lying on the east line of Fifth Street (62 feet); thence with the east line of Fifty Street (State Road 13), north 00 degrees 07 minutes 59 seconds east 206.56 feet; thence parallel and distant 18 feet from the centerline of the south tract of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, south 84 degrees 12 minutes 30 seconds east, a distance of 165 feet more or less to the east line of commercial zoning as existed the date of this description, being the Point of Beginning of this description; thence continuing along parallel and distance 18 feet from the centerline of the south tract of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, south 84 degrees 12 minutes 30 seconds east, a distance of 125 feet; thence south parallel with the east line of Fifty Street (State Road), south 00 degrees 07 minutes 59 seconds west, a distance of 70 feet; thence north 84 degrees 12 minutes 30 seconds west, a distance of 125 feet to the east line of commercial zoning as existed the date of this description; thence north 00 degrees 07 minutes 59 seconds east, along said east commercial zoning line, a distance of 70 feet to the Point of Beginning; said above described tract contains 0.2 acres more or less.
This change is requested to permit the above described real estate to be used for the purpose of Commercial uses as defined by the Kosciusko County Zoning Ordinance.
The hearing will be held at: Commissioners Room Court on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 1:00 pm. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments will be considered if they are received in the Office of the Kosciusko County Planning Department, Court House, no later than 12:00 Noon on the day of the hearing.
