David and Dawn Koldyke, Mentone, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 28, 2011.

David and the former Dawn Kahler were married Jan. 28, 1951, at St John's Lutheran Church, Marion, by the Rev. Walter Libfarth.

He is retired from self-employment and she is a homemaker.

The couple have five children: Karen (and spouse Jim) Harding, Warsaw; Pamela Barnard, Albany, Ind.; Katrina (and spouse Jim) Calhoun, Warsaw; David Jr. (and spouse Kay) Koldyke, Galesburg, Mich.; and Daniel (and spouse Cindy) Koldyke, Silver Lake; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

They winter in Port Isabel, Texas. They will take a trip to Las Vegas and the family will get together later.
