Friends and family of Jean Kolar are invited to attend a reception in honor of her 90th birthday from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 13 in the fellowship hall at First United Methodist Church, Warsaw.

She was born Nov. 11, 1921, in Kosciukso County, to Idyl and Faye Leiter Hoffer. On June 30, 1945, in Iowa City, Iowa, she married Chester G. Kolar of Akron, Ohio, who died Aug. 19, 1984.

She has a son, Tim (and spouse Sally) Warsaw; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
