Know The Constitution

Editor, Times-Union:

Yes, Mizz Linda, I did make an error in my statement regarding the Constitution stating blacks to be considered as 2/3 of a person. I should have said 3/5 of a person. My error gave the Constitution more credit than it deserved by 6-2/3 percent.

My main point, apparently lost to you, was to point out that black people were considered less than whole persons in the Constitution; a thoroughly despicable act brought into being by wealthy, white men. So, yes, I have made egregious mistakes of having misspelled word and was off 6-2/3 percent on a Constitution fact. But what do you expect from a welfare queen like myself?

The rest of Mizz Linda's letter is filled with nothing but mean-spirited, slanderous trash that has been gone over time and time again and not worthy of rehashing.

But since you love going down memory lane, may I remind you that as you dash off to the bank to cash your Social Security check and enjoy your government-run Medicare, these are entitlements given to you by Democratic presidents and opposed by Republicans as Socialist. If you feel put upon by receiving these things, I know of no law that prohibits you from sending off a check payable to the United States Treasury for repayment of these benefits.

If it makes you and Mr. Eppenbaugh feel better by portraying me as some sort of welfare queen, then knock yourselves out. I know better and those that know me know better, but in the future I would appreciate some creativity and originality in your personal attacks on me.
